You know that smug asshole that asks ten minute questions at Q&A’s? 

Film student. 

That douche at the party who loudly pontificates about Black Swan? 

Film student. 

Isn’t it amazing how his cousin’s friend’s sister’s boyfriend works as Michael Bay’s assistant / body oiler?  I know!  Now imagine being in a room with these terribly delusional humans that truly believe directing a $200 million dollar blockbuster is in their imminent future.  It’s like being part of a Republican debate where everyone thinks they’re leading in the polls and they wont shut up about it.  I honestly get nightmares of having to watch another overly-long mess of a short film (to call them films is a complement— camera ejaculations would be more fitting.)  Even the thought of The Dark Knight makes me cringe.  (It may forever ring in my ears as “THE GREATEST MOVIE EVAR!”) 

Obviously, I didn’t have many friends in film school.  Maybe I’m a bit of a snob myself.  But if you deny that the general population of film students are some of the worst scum on the planet, then we will never be friends.

P.S.  DUDE, THE DARK KNIGHT IS THE CITIZEN KANE OF OUR TIME.
